Background[]

Dimensional Traveler Jules Verne was the personal air-ship of Saga Empire's hero, Hayato Masaki. It is able to enter and navigate the dark grey space between dimensions, allowing it to quickly arrive at its destination in real space.

The ship was originally one of the original eight Light Ship used to protect the World Tree by the Elves of the Bolenan Forest. It was given to Saga Empire's Hero as a reward for defeating the goblin demon lord, and is loaned to each following generation of Saga Empire's hero as their personal transport.

With the return of Hero Hayato to this home, the status of Jules Verne is unknown as it has evidently not been assigned to the new heroes summoned after him.

Appearance[]

A beautiful sleek silver air-ship that is considerably smaller than the warships used by Saga Empire. Satou notes that the ship looks very much like a spaceship one would usually find in a sci-fi series.

Plot[]

Oyugock City[]

The ship, carrying the Saga Empire's hero and his party, appeared from a dimensional dark grey space in the sky of Duchy capital during final of martial art tournament. It's been summoned by Ringrande Oyugock to save her hometown from the rampaging yellow-skinned demon.

Trivia[]

  • Likely due to its ability to enter and hide within the dimensional dark grey space, it is known as the Dimensional Submarine Jules Verne in the light novel.
  • The main battery of the Jule Verne fires a laser that is 4-8 times as Satou's own [Laser] spell.
    • While in the web novel the battery is powered by Hayato's Arondight Holy Sword, this was changed to requiring a "master key" in the light novel.
  • The Talisman of Divine Gift seems to be directly linked to the navigation systems of the Jules Verne. On invoking the miracle to "summon the hero into battle", the air-ship would automatically plot a course towards the active talisman without input from the crew.
